New York Comic-Con is this weekend! Frontalot will be loitering often at the Dumbrella booth (#1856), as is his wont. Come say hello to the wonderful people who make the beautiful things (and also to Front, say hi). Front may occasionally also be found near the C&H and PA booths. We hear Bl4k Lotus is on the scene playingMagic or some shit. Conventions! Wheee!

Yet more WHEEEE! is in waiting at the Nerdcore Rising: The Movie New York Premiere on Friday the 13th. Shows are at 8PM and 10:15 at 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson Street (at Canal). Buy yourself a ticket! Buy three if you have friends or are of incomprehensible girth. Front and cohorts will be there after each showing to beat-box and bust a small number of rhymes. Not only that, but you should psych yourself up ahead of time with director Negin’s continuing efforts to document the band’s glory: a decidedly glory-free second installment of the Final Boss tour vid-blog is freshly posted. Frontalot is running a temperature! So, clearly, the wise move is to abandon sunshiney California and kick it in New York for the rest of the winter. That is today’s endeavor, and the airports are rife with muzak. Our intrepid rapper soliders on.

Anywhere near Palm Springs? Why don’t you go to Wednesday’s showing of Nerdcore Rising at that town’sInternational Film Festival? It begins at seven in the evening and details are readily available.

The whole internet has been very patient in its knuckle-biting anticipation of the Wallflowers Video Contestresults. Trust us that the judging was extremely difficult. Everyone who entered was in fine, fine form. But! Highlander. So:

Front, Lotus, Gorthon, the Genius, and Mighty YT are chilling at a Digital Gangster paradise on a lake in one of the Carolinas. Tonight’s Charlotte show will witness their reunion with Lars. After that, it’s Harrisonburg, Vienna, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and finally Hoboken. Your chances to see this nerdcore miasma in person grow ever more scant. Take heed!

Front thanks everyone for the birth-a-ma-day wishes. He and crew scramble to get to Disneyworld today. Friday it’s off to Georgia for the Marietta show. Nerdcore Rising is in Atlanta that same night! Head over right after the film to catch Front’s set.

Last night’s wild little show in Houston’s hidden punk-rock grocery The White Swan ended beautifully with ahonky-tonk sing-along. Tonight’s New Orleans shindig at Howlin’ Wolf should be a little less intimate, yet equally awesome.

You already know all about Front’s Jacksonville show on the 2nd, but have you heard about the last-minute birthday blowout in Orlando? It is December 3rd (that is when Front’s age notches up again) and the party starts at A Comic Shop at 5pm, then proceeds to Black Box Collective for the rapping portion from 8PM onwards.
