Alert! Saint Louis, MO! Front is stopping by your fair town on Saturday night to open for Mike Doughty at the Old Rock House. Get a ticket and show up right at 7:00 as Front’s on very first.
Also added: New York! The tour will end at Littlefield in Brooklyn on Nov 12th. Mark your calendars.
Today, the van rolls through Arkansas on its way to a couple of dates with The OneUps (Fayetteville 10/26, Hot Springs 10/27). Hell’s Eve looms! Front will be with Peelander-Z and the Protomen in Nashville for the big night. Then it’s off to Gainesville, FL, the Carolinas, Baltimore, Philly, Boston, Albany… your details are at the gig calendar.
Video action center! How about this whole Frontalot set from the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn last December? Or perhaps Front, the Sturgenius, Bl4k Lotus, and Vic-20 performing an unplugged Spoiler Alertin spyfm’s kidnapper van several days ago in Oklahoma City? Or there’s still the new Official Video for Critical Hit, an extravaganza if ever there was one.
56K (aka Mike Lombardo) continues to file his youtube reports live from the road, and Vic-20 keeps the prose and photos flowing in his tour diary. Learn of Front & the band’s exploits therein.

The video for Critical Hit is yours to share and enjoy! See it on the yootoobs for now, with downloads at the frontalot.com video page soon. Kindly metal head and certified Man Of Hilarity Brian Posehn guest-stars as Front’s dungeonmaster.
The UK tour is at an end! But the USA tour resumes on the 21st. See Front and his band (Bl4k Lotus, Vic-20, and The Sturgenius) in Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Fayetteville, Hot Springs (AR), Atlanta [pending], Nashville, Gainesville, Chaleston, Charlotte, Chapel Hill, Hampton Roads (VA, at NekoCon!), Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cambridge (MA), Albany, and NYC [pending]. Deets are best found on the calendar.
Tickets are fast evaporating for JoCoCruiseCrazy II (the legend of JoCoCruiseCrazy). Get your cabin while it remains hot/extant. Front will rap on this boat, so if you want to be on a boat, with Front, who is rapping at the time, bust open that piggy bank.

Londontown! Frontalot has his first day off of the tour. It has so far been quite a fantastic voyage in the fleet oforange tour busses, alongside Math The Band, City Stereo, and our loving hosts Wheatus. There’s a couple more weeks left in the UK and then three more weeks in the southern and eastern US. The gig calendar has your finer points of data.
Keep up with Front’s olde world exploits on the twitta feed and the yootoob viddys.

Long distances! Front departs for the United Kingdom for a month of shows, opening for Wheatus. They are kind enough not only to host his efforts but to act as his live band and back up his whole set. Front will have all kinds of free goodies for you, so be sure to stop by a show in England, Scotland, or Wales. Or better yet, all three.

Front continues to hope you’ll take a listen to his new album, Solved. Because it is new! And kind of awesome! It somehow remains in the top 40 at Amazon’s hip-hop mp3 albums chart, and is readily available on youriTunes. You may also hear it on Spotify, where Front earns about a ten-zillionth of a cent per play.
The new Blamimation with Kris and Scott has a whole lot of Front in it. MOAR INTARNET? See front onWired.com and various other places.
The tour keeps rolling! Santa Cruz tonight, Los Angeles tomorrow, then Phoenix, then the whole darn United Kingdom. See below or peruse the gig calendar.

West coast! Front and the band are in your hills and valleys. San Francisco on Sunday (with a special opening set by Mike Lombardo), followed quickly by Santa Cruz and Los Angeles. Don’t forget Phoenix on the 10th! It is KoL Con, which you should attend. But if you can’t do that, just drop by the concert and pay at the door ($10).
Thanks to Seattle, Portland, and Boise for each of your uplifting evenings of raucus nerd-rap-concert-attendery.
Sept 15 through Oct 16: MC Front’s in the UK with Wheatus and Math The Band! Wheatus (featuring Front’s own keyboard superstar Vic-20) is kind enough to back the set, so this visit will feature no canned moozics in the nerdcore hip-hop department. Rejoice, anglos!
After England, Front’s back to the homeland for a southern and eastern wrap-up of the tour. New confirmed dates are added to the gig calendar on the regular. Seek them there.
Front’s new album, Solved, continues to be new, and an album. It inexplicably charted on the Amazon hip-hop charts, in the top 5 for a few days, and is still in the top 40. Sometimes Front rolls lucky.

It’s the big day! MC Frontalot’s fifth album, “Solved,” is officially released. You can get the CD (with instant download) and listen to teaser tracks here, buy the download-only version (including 24bit FLAC) right here, get the imperfect-but-still-pretty-good iTunes encodings at iTunes (duh), or opt for the bargain-basement MP3-only version at Amazon. Expect to see it on all your favorite streaming and vending sites as soon as immediately.
Oh, and the first single remains a joyous ode to radio hooks, critical acclaim, Front’s lack of both, and the occasional perfect roll of a D20. Video to debut super soon.
Speaking of albums that came out today, take a listen to Mink Car Cover, a They Might Be Giants tribute album benefitting the FDNY Foundation. Front’s on there, doing Another First Kiss, and he’s joined by all your favorite internet folks, including Hank Green, Shael Riley, Devo Spice, Tom Milsom, Marian Call, Beefy & Mustin, Molly Lewis, brentalfloss, Mike Lombardo, NBW, Aivi Tran, The Doubleclicks, Jonathan Mann, R_Garcia, and Hello The Future! Front’s tallest Canadian friend Ryan North even did the art.
Front and company are brunching in Boulder today, then rolling up and down a bunch of mountains until they get to Seattle. What might draw them there? Maybe there’s a convention or something.

Frontalot and company are westbound! Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison, Lincoln, and Denver loom in the immediate distance. Beyond them, PAX glimmers at the game map’s corner, a mana well ensconced in emerald. Front rocks that particular exposition on the Friday night (8/26), as you may already know.
The band wishes to thank the boisterous and brilliant crowds who have already aided in rocking the heck out ofPittsburgh, Cleveland, Ft. Wayne, and Ann Arbor. Has the Solved tour already passed you by? Perhaps you need to be on the Mailing List!
To keep up with tour happenings, you might want to follow Front’s Twattle, like him on Teh Bookface, mind Bl4k Lotus’s Twubber, or check out Fifty-Six K’s video parade (a daily dose of behind-the-scenery from YooToob sensation and current touring MCF keyboardist Mike L).

The tour! It so speedily approaches. Minneapolis, Denver, Boise, and Lincoln are freshly added to the gig calendar. Los Angeles coming soon!
We are sad to report that Front is not opening every single show on the Wheatus UK tour. Only about 21 of them will feature our MC doing a whole set. Still a pretty good amount of fronting for such a tiny ol’ island. See that gig calendar for specifics.
February 19-26, 2012: you want to be on a boat? Getting off the boat at various islands? Playing perhaps a littleshuffleboard? Seeing nightly entertainments from MC Frontalot, Jonathan Coulton, Paul & Storm, Marian Call, John Roderick, PF Tompkins, John Hodgman, Wil Wheaton, and other nerd luminaries? Well get your steamer trunk and, more importantly, your tickets. Cabin inventory is limited.
Two days left to bribe MC Frontalot to write whatever song you want.

Front broils in the Brooklyn summer for a little while, but tour fast approaches! See that Boise is added, as are perhaps several towns since last you pored over the gig calendar. New UK dates keep getting announced, too – Front opens for Wheatus at every stop.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see our MC in San Diego! It was a mighty fine Comic-Con, and Front wants to thank Dumbrella for hosting him, KoL for suffering his presence on their couch, and Ran, Zealous1, andDoc Awk for rocking the Ruby Room with him Fri night. Thanks also to time.com for noticing Front was there (and even suggesting that he belonged somewhere in the royal entourage).
You folks can buy Solved (the new Frontalot CD) and download it today. You can donate to the kickstarter for the album’s videos and get all kinds of wonderful little things in return (and push the total towards a fourthvideo). Or you can just listen to the first single, which had its video shoot in LA last week.
Bl4k Lotus has a new album coming! KoL has a comic book kickstarter! Other exclamations to appear as their excitement threshholds are met.
