Hi folks.

At long last, the movie called Nerdcore Rising: The Movie, which chronicles
MC Frontalot's amazing rise to fame STRIKE THAT sorry I mean ongoing slog
towards relatively lessened obscurity, which follows him and his live band
over the course of their first-ever tour in 2006, which interviews tons of
fans and other nerdcore rappers and various celebrities and etc, is going to
BE SEEN IN PUBLIC!

It is, in fact, going to premiere at the prestigious South By Southwest Film
Festival in Austin, TX, on Sunday, March 9th, at 10:30 in the evening.
Festival pass-holders have priority, but we think you can get in if you just
show up and stand in line. After the movie, there's going to be a crazy-ass
party where Front will do a live set and Prince Paul will spin records(!)
and everyone will have a big old happy hoo-haw. We're pretty sure you can
get details on both events as they become available, at the fancy new site
for the movie: http://nerdcorerising.com ... and at the movie's page from
the festival: http://2008.sxsw.com/film/screenings/film/F11420.html

That second URL will also show you that there are more showings of the movie
later in the week. Front, Gm7, and Blak Lotus are all doing Q&A after the
Tues night showing (Mar 11th), and on top of that, Monday morning there's a
SxSW panel about being in documentaries, and Front has to show up to talk at
that one too. Even though it's at the ungodly hour of like 11AM.

In other news! Front is playing at Anime Boston on March 22nd. It is going
to be otaku-tastic. http://www.animeboston.com/

And finally! The new album is coming along swimmingly. It is going to come
out late in the summertime, when the sweltering heats cause you to crave
something cool. Unfortunately, there is never anything cool about a nerdcore
album. But you can buy it then anyway! We mention this only because the
major impediment to the album's forward progress is Front's daily obsession
with electoral politics. He is so into Barry Obama that he has composed this
irritatingly snide donation gateway:
http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/nerds ... if you prefer
Hillarys or Republicans, you are welcome to ignore this entreaty. If you
prefer Republicans, you should probably also go through your music
collection and delete Front's various frothy-mouthed political diatribe
songs. But you already knew that.
