[MC Frontalot] October mini-tour with Optimus Rhyme, Baddd Spellah votin', etc

Front thanks everyone who packed the joint in Bellevue for the PAX show.
There were 2500 of you. And you were rad. Big ups to the light-saber
wielders near the left edge of the stage. Pics and interviews and other PAX

Co-PAX-folk and nerdcore superstars Optimus Rhyme are headed east for a
mini-tour with Frontalot in late October! Sat the 21st is confirmed for NYC.
We're trying to put Boston together that Friday, then DC and Philly
afterwards. Do you have a reliable lead on an excellent venue? (Suggestions
are great, but if you or a close contact actually books a space -- that's
the kind of leads we need.) Time is short and self-booking is a pain in the
bottom, so any help is appreciated. We need: anywhere with a great sound
system, lights, and a stage. Our ideal schedule is 10/20 Boston, 10/22 DC,
10/23 Philly. We're expecting to draw 200 or so in each of these towns.

Next up: do you know anyone who poops on themselves pretty often? The new
Sesame Street DVD "Elmo's Potty Time" presents to such people an excellent
alternative (pooping directly into a toilet). Alcoholics, the elderly, and
IBS sufferers probably want to seek one-on-one instruction or at least a
more age-appropriate DVD addressing the issue. Front mentions this
particular video because he happened to contribute a 1.5-minute rap about
the toilet paper factory which is included therein! He doesn't enjoy
per-unit royalties or anything, but buy it off amazon via the link on
Front's site and he gets like thirty-five cents for the referral. Don't
knock it. It adds up.

There is a little nook (perhaps a cranny) in the new frontalot.com called
Dorknotes, where written things that are dorky may be found, read, printed
out and held dear, etc. A new advice column "Ask An Actual Girl" begins

Please note that "A/S/L??" and "Are you hawt???" have already been asked,
and weren't that clever to begin with.

Lastly: Go here http://www.cbc.ca/thering/remix.html and vote for "Rhyme of
the Nibelung" by a "David T Chong." MC Frontalot's fave DJ Baddd Spellah is
in the final round for a remix contest thrown by CBC (which is like NPR for
Canadian people). He had to do up Ride Of The Valkyries by a Mr. Wagner. Do
it up he done did! Also there is some rapping on there, which you may find
voiced in a familiar manner, though we won't say who by. The ten finalists
are all presented in RealAudio format. This tragic error on the part of the
CBC's webmasters will probably result in almost nobody listening to the
tracks. But you can vote for Baddd/David anyhow, and that once daily. So do.
