Street dates! They are things with a funny phrase describing them! Are these romantic strolls through the street? Are they dates obtained on the street? Are we talking about the commerce surrounding an unnatural act with a street walker?

Sorry to disappoint. Take heart! This street date is a thousand times more awesome than prostitute sex. It is the street date of the Nerdcore Rising: The Movie fancy brilliant ultimate super-duper nationwide Digital Versatile Disc release day, which is today, and it's almost tomorrow already and we haven't mentioned it.

And on the topic of regrets: we apologize for how the frontalot.com news post got a little PG-13 there for a moment. Obviously you need no purring come-ons to understand that we're shilling for the most fantastic piece of cinema ever committed to screen. Your arousal is palpable already.

Consummate in homes, pubs, theaters, civic centers. Not just today ("street date" day!!), but in the days to come, nerds everywhere are hosting their own screenings. Throw one practically anywhere; the distributor will shower you with freebies and the people who you invite over will think you are some kind of cinema mogul.

If that all sounds too terribly social to you, we can have the mailman discretely deliver a copy, either one of your very own or one lent from the Netflix library. That particular lending library is worth signing up for, just for the streaming. You could be streaming Nerdcore Rising to your computron this very second.

Calendar is updated (um, corrected) for KoL show in (um, near) Phoenix; it is now (um, has always been) Saturday the 19th. Be there!

Front's song Origin Of Species is now available for Rock Band as DLC. So march over to your fancy console machine and download it. The song? It is a confoundingly deft bit of commentary if we do say so ourselves, yet we're pretty sure you'll succeed in parsing out The Reverend Aloud's deeper ministerial intentions. If you adore such things, why not pick up the Secrets compact disc or hi-fi full-album download?

That is a nice thing about not having a record company to boss us around! Promote the latest album? Sure, here's the new single! Promote the first album? Can't think why not. The second one? We already did that in the previous paragraph, but we'll do it some more! We're just that free-spirited around here.

Folks who went to PAX have various memories that they put onto internet. If you happened across one mister Jhonen V's description of the events, you will have found Frontalot's true and secret identity (summary: Front = Ogre from RotN1). In the interest of fairness, yes, Jhonen has our MC pegged. But we can reveal things too. Example: Jhonen wears Sanrio bobbysocks, has a unicorn sticker on his vanity chest, and writes Hannah Montanna fanfic in longhand. We do not mean that he is girlish! Only that he has a certain bright innocence in his heart, and that it bubbles forth into giggles given any opportunity. Also, he is kind of shy about asking for hugs, so if you see him at a con just give him one!

The Nerdcore Rising: The Movie site is freshly re-imagineered, to promote the big DVD release this month. You should host a screening at your house, for your friends. There will be a special nerdcore song fight, curated by Front himself; details soon on that.

Broken frontalot.com: repaired! Did you try to sign up for an account recently, so that you might use the BBS or join the VSP or just plain old buy an MP3 version of Final Boss? And then the dumb thing did not ever send you the required confirmation email? TRY AGAIN! Please. We fixed it.

If you get an account, you can help us test-drive the all-three-albums MP3/AAC/FLAC store. Niiiiice.

The Penny Arcade Expo was a glorious success, as it tends to be! Also successful: the delivery of Tycho's latest whelp. Nice work, everyone. Front felt privileged both to perform and to pal around with the PAX-Goers, the Enforcers, the PA brass, the nerd royalty (Coulton, Paul & Storm, Wheaton, Kurtz, Amend, Freezepop, Anamanaguchi, Metroid Metal... there was no lack). If you're clever, you'll get in on the PAX East action while the getting's good.

Front's next Rappening(TM) occurs in Mesa, AZ, at the Kingdom Of Loathing's annual get together. We've just heard that the general public will be allowed into the concert after all, for a mere ten bucks. But! If you inhabit the Kingdom, you'll want the whole weekend's excitement for your own.
