Normally I get my live Front necessity at PAXPrime, however with PAXPrime selling out in basically a single day, I don't know if I'll be able to see him this year. I was hoping he intends to return to Boise so I can catch him right after PAX. Anyone want to commiserate with me in their lack of PAX?

I am sorry friend, no one should go without ever having been to PAX. At least you're situated in a location that makes it untenable to go, I am a six hour drive away, the only thing stopping me from attending is that I lack the amulet required to gain entry! It is very frustrating.

That does sound frustrating. Why don't you make plans for that weekend so that when you would have been at PAX, you're still having a good time and not thinking "argh, I wish I were at PAX"?

I've missed a few PAXes due to babysitting logistics. It's definitely a bumber.

I was happy about getting a pass, until I realised... oh crap, very few of my friends can say the same.
Of course, if I didn't get a pass, I would be certifiably pissed.

It would be very interesting if somebody managed to get something else going that weekend for a lot of people who didn't manage to get into PAX. Then, all people would be able to attend all the same parties at night. I'm not sure who would/could pull of something like that. Microsoft? Wizards of the Coast? Concerned Seattle citizens?

Ace, you've 10 more chances to "hop across the pond" (as they say (who really says that anyway? (they should say six-hours-by-plane-pond)))

I vote that you use your skills as a Money Wizard, or Cash Mage, to net us some sort of credentials whereby we could annex some home near downtown Seattle to use as some sort of depraved sex den. Alternatively we could get drunk and play MarioKart 64.
