Hello Friends of the Front!

itemforty here with an important message: IT'S ON (again).

For anybody who noticed, a little while ago some fans of hip-hop decided to put their rap abilities to the test in a friendly little competition. Once the raps were complete, they were uploaded and voted upon. You can hear the raps and see the results... here:

Well, since it was a fun challenge, we decided to do it again, and this time open the competition up to get even more submissions. Sounds like a blast RIGHT?

This time around is pretty simple: take your favorite TV Theme song and rap on it. Here are the rules:

1. You can choose any song you like as long as that song isn't claimed by someone else (see list below for claimed TV themes). If you don’t want to lose your preferred song, post a comment here, or let me know in IRC.
   
2. There is no set theme; rap on any topic you like.
   
3. You can remix the song all you want (add drums, take parts from the lyrics out, use some vocals for a hook, etc) but don't mangle it too much! We want the song to still sound like the original!
   
4. No racist, homophobic, or otherwise derogatory lyrics or themes please!
   
5. Final songs need to be in .MP3 format, and should have the following formatting:
   
   [artist name]-[song name].mp3
   
   
6. All submissions must be received by me, itemforty, by Friday, August 20th, 2010. E-mail*, FTP, carrier pigeon, Pony Express™, whatever you prefer, just get it to me!
   

Once I have all the raps I will make a new thread and organize the songs for voting. Winner gets to be the winner of this competition, and of our hearts!
