WHO IS THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON YOU KNOW? |
||

This could be fun.
Aaaaaaaand, GO! |

Kyle Cease, stand-up comedian. We were friends in High School. It's not like I really "know" him these days so much as I'm pretty sure he'd recognize me if we ran into each other.

As shameful as it is to know her, I used to be pretty good friends with Jesse James' 2nd mistress, Melissa Smith. I had no idea she would be a part of ruining Sandra Bullock's marriage. Though I'm thinking he fed her a bunch of BS from the sounds of things. While she is the type to feed on fame, she isn't the type to break up a marriage (but IS the type to be naive when it comes to men). Blech. Makes me vom.

Aaaaaaaand, GO! You started the thread, you tell us! ;) Uhhh... I know a number of indie rappers, with varying levels of fame... One is even the Godfather of nerdcore! Heehee... Beyond that, I am drawing a blank. Also, I'm moving this to Pie. |

Uhhhhh...
I met Chris Hastings at Comic-Con '09, and told him I was a moderator on the Dr. McNinja forums(Which is true. O'Seamus tells no lies)so maybe he kinda knows me. I also met -RoG- from i-Mockery that same year, and this year he sent me a sticky note along with a prize for a contest I won on that site. So when I see him at Comic-Con this year, maybe he'll know me too...? |

Umm....
My uncle did lighting on Space Cowboys |

Hmmm that's a tough one. I know a lot of the game AI guys. I guess the most recognizable name is Damien Isla who was the lead on the Halo series AI.
Thought about it for another minute and realized that all the famous people I know are not that famous to the masses. |

Oh yea I know Miss May from Playboy 2008 : )

He dead now though. THAT'S AWESOME! (I'm sorry for your loss.) Still cool though. |

Oh! I used to know one of the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz. Ok, well, I knew his granddaughter, but whatever. Everyone knew who he was around here.
I also used to know Larry Hovis, he was my teacher in college. He was known for being Sgt Carter on Hogan's Heroes. |

Huh. When I think about it, the famous people I know would only recognize me through my brothers.
There's Colin Fraser who plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. My brother played hockey with him growing up, and we went to the same high school. He was part of the Canadian team which won gold in that Jr's tournament that happened when the NHL was on hiatus or what-what a few years ago. That's some good hockey. If anyone listens to Hedley, lead singer Jacob Hoggard knows my other brother. In fact, we went to the same elementary school, where he performed in Joseph and the Amazing Coloured Dreamcoat. My brother once tells me of a time when the two of them were hanging out, when they saw this dance contest. Even though Jacob hadn't officially entered the contest, he just joined in and won! (His prize was confiscated) OH! I suppose it is worthwhile that my friend Johnny has over 13,000 subscribers on YouTube. Not too shabby. |

I also know a girl who's married to the actor who played Jason Voorhees in the most recent Friday the 13th movie. I guess that's pretty cool...even though I just know his wife.

Ummm... I really don't know any famous people. I have met some though.
Alf Ramsey was my great granddad's first cousin (he was the manager of the England football team when they won the world cup in 1966). I don't know him though, as he's been dead since 1999. I didn't know him before that either. His link to my (closer) family was through my great granddad (as I have mentioned) and he (my great granddad) was never one for socialising, even with cousins. There's a street in Canada (Chambers Drive in Ajax, Ontario) named after my great granddad. I think there's a bay in Australia or something named after him too. I don't really know any famous people though. Boo! |

Seriously, though, I'm limited to the fabulous indie rappers that come to Austin for SXSW: Mr. Alot, Jesse Dangerously, More or Les, Fresh Kils, and of course Schaffer the Darklord. Two of those I just listed have slept at my home. Another two of them spent a good amount of time either at my house, or in my car. |

Um... I know Mike Patton. My best friend works with him a lot on movie scores and whatnot, so we've hung out a few times. He's probably the most famous.
If there are any (American) Office fans, just last night I met Creed Bratton's daughter. |
