I think our Vent's becoming this weird Otaku Central? Anyways, I've noticed lots of us have been discussing anime and manga on our Vent server recently. So, if you need someone to talk too about your favorite anime(s) or manga(s). Come on by our server!

Would it be alright if a younger nerd joined the conversation? I've never talked over Vent before, mostly because I usually don't reveal my age (especially in WoW).

Anyway, I might get on tomorrow if it's okay, but I most likely won't. I'm going to a filmmaking summer camp in LA for two weeks, so I'll probably be packing for that.

Anywho, when are you usually online? I usually log on in UK time so there are not many people talking.

Since the Vent is run on U.K. time, I'm used to it. So, I'm on when you're on. Except 3:00 p.m. your time.

I'm on sometimes. A lot of the time I get on the get off cuz N1ght said he'd ban me if I didn't talk and when he's playing Warcraft with other people I can't really talk, and that's a lot.

You just sit and literally LURK in my channel wyr. No one likes a Vent lurker. Talk or don't bother logging on.

I added the server to my vent. But I know how things can be, and I don't want to be rude and be all "Hiiiiieeeeeee" when people are in the middle of something serious. So, if you see Pixie on, say Hi so I don't feel all rude and stuff for barging in, mkay? Thx

Uh, you can talk? Lots of people talk on Vent to us while we play games. It's what Vent is for. It's not meant for lurking in channels and not saying anything. If you aren't going to speak to anyone, don't bother logging on.

Anyways, if we have any Wii-ers around here, bring your gaming on our Vent! Since WFC has a lack of in-game communication, you can use our Vent for your gaming needs. Myself, Nate and a couple others enjoy our Wii-dom on Vent. ^__^

Honestly, if I logged on and you guys were playing Warhammer, I wouldn't have anything to say either. If you don't play that game, it's hard to get in the conversation.

Hey, I brought one of my boys on, and the group was talking to the pair of us while we were injecting EVE-Online references. And if you weren't there... and haven't figured it out, Pixie has ovaries, and Flashy McBangersons is her friend named Zilchy aka Pookie. Zilchy is male.

All of the admins (including myself) are old friends, so we all play/talk with each other even if we are playing multiple games in one channel. We don't mind if anyone wants to come in to hang-out for whatever reason and chat for whatever reason. In fact, we encourage it. I'll state what's clearly noticeable on the Vent. Don't just sit there lurking in our channel for little to no reason, then come on here posting what we were talking about (which is what he has done in the past). And then when we DO talk to you (or need to ask you something), completely ignore us because you're not paying attention or don't care. This is just common sense folks, oh and there's a channel labeled "At the Fucking Keyboard (But Not Talking!)" for a reason. :/

I'm no longer discussing this matter of common fucking sense further. If EVERYONE ELSE on a Vent server can understand to not lurk in a Vent channel with people you don't plan to have communication with for w/e reason(s). Then he should be able to discern that for himself without it having to be spelled/typed out.
