'Britain' is the big island just east of Ireland with England, Wales, and Scotland on it.
Scots don't like being called Brits? Does that mean everyone else from the UK is a 'Brit' and the Scots aren't? No. As someone living in London, but who has lived in Wales and as I said have Scottish relatives, I have almost never heard an English, Scottish or Welsh person refer to themselves as a 'Brit', this is something Americans say a lot and (I think due to the internet) very very occasionally said over here. People might call themselves 'British' but often people will say Scottish, Welsh, or English. You really must be confusing Britain with England.
I don't disagree with Scots wanting to be referred to separately from the rest of Britain, but if you explicitly differentiate one constituent country you can't then refer to another part separately as 'Britian'

My Steam name is [PORK]Ace_Dank and yesterday I was playing L4D with some French people who typed in English but spoke in French, one of them kept calling me Ace and talking in English which I understood but then the other one kept shouting "DANK! FOLLOW US!" but he pronounced dank as donk so it took a while before I realised he was talking to me
