Please recommend a Pokemon game for Wii |
||
|
Much to my disappointment, my newly purchased "Pokemon Battle Revolution" for Wii only lets you play with 6 canned Pokemon, and you can't level them up, and you can't catch any others. I'm completely shocked how these basic elements could be missing from a Pokemon game. Apparently you need to also own a DS and the Pearl/Diamond games there. That's where you do the catching & leveling, then you transfer them to your Wii, and all the $50 Wii game is good for is playing out battles in 3D. What a complete rip off!
Can you please recommend a Pokemon game playable on Wii (e.g. Wii, GameCube, or maybe online downloadable) that would have the basic elements of catching & training & battling Pokemon? Specifically, a game that doesn't require or vitally depend upon you transferring stuff from a DS or GBA. The only Nintendo system I own is a Wii. |

Ha, so they're still doing that same old Pokémon Stadium stuff, eh?
I know there's one like you want for Gamecube (well, I think it is what you want, I never played it). Pokémon: Gale of Darkness. I think that's what you're looking for. |

Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

To be fair, yes, you might be better off with that.

Super Smash Bros Brawl involves catching, training and battle pokemon?

No. But there are stickers and trophies. Gotta catch 'em all!

blue and red for the GBC were the highpoint of portable gameing for me, then i got yellow, and then gold. after that it all became too insane for me to comprehend. if you could download a crack for those games but for the wii, like they made a transfer from the GC for zelda, that would be whore-some.

This thread just reminded me of the "Freshness" PA comic-strip done recently.
"Infernape, GET THE FUCK OUT HERE!" That was epic lulz when I first read it. I hope they make a shirt around that quote. |

The last time I played Brawl (say two weeks ago, but it had been months since I played last), I got a couple trophies by accident. One was for playing so many hours/matches of multi-player.
The other was for collecting all the songs. The last song was one I love so very very much.... Bob-omb Battlefield (Super Mario 64). |
