Does s.o. know a cheap room, youth hostel, sleeping-bag accommodation?

Oh, I wish I could give some advice. I usually get a cheap hotel across the river (in New Jersey) and drive into Manhattan. Parking sucks though. Whatever happened to the glut of New Yorkers that used to post here?

I wonder if I can somehow arrange to pop over on the weekend. That would be great to meet a fellow BBS'er. I'd have my family in tow, so not likely we'd be able to meet at a pub. Anyway, just wishful thinking at this point.
